Feeling Nervous - Writing by Hamish Moore

It was a foggy morning in Tapanui as we lined up to run onto the rugby field. As we faced the Tapanui side I started to get butterflies in my tummy. I started to doubt myself. In my head I was saying "What if I drop the ball? What if I throw a forward pass? What ifI miss a tackle?"
Then I really started to get worried. we had never beaten Tapanui before. I looked down at my arms and legs. I had goosebumps everywhere.
The referee blew the whistle.

Feeling Nervous: Lucas Anderson

It was the first day of cubs. I felt really nervous because I didn't know anybody except Ollie. I didn't speak. I went pale as a ghost. I spoke as quietly as a mouse when anyone talked to me.

Ollie's Writing:
I felt nervous on the first day of school. I didn't want to go. My throat was tingling and my tummy felt funny. My legs started wobbling and my heart was pounding. When I got to school I was fine.

Easton feels Nervous:
It was a chilly morning as the team gathered for a warm up. The coach told us to run onto the field. My heart was racing and my legs were trembling.
The whistle blew and the ball flew through the air. I was so nervous I had goose bumps.
