The Rocky Shore at Fisherman's Camp - Ollie Maguire

There were thousands of barnacles all over the rocks, goose neck barnacles and many other sorts. Barnacles can never move from the rock they are stuck to. When barnacle larvae are hatched, they float around in the sea until they find a rock to stick to and then they stay there. Now I know barnacles can't move.

Now I know what a chiton look like. Chiton have we bumps all over them and there are different sorts of chiton.
I was amazed at how close the black foot paua were to the shore.
I have learned that sea tulips are filter feeders and starfish stick out their stomach to eat.
